Birth Partner: 360 Guidance

Birth Partner Hands on Pregnant Belly

Whether the plan is to birth at home or elsewhere, those who surround the process are crucial to ensuring the birthing experience is as stress-free and enjoyable as possible, for both mother and baby.

Understanding this important role

In fact, the role of the chosen birth partner is truly sacred - recognising the birthing mothers' needs, and protecting the birthing space, so that her needs can be met. While also being the support system if complications arise and plans change, to allow the mother to follow the course of action that feels right to her.

However, this responsibility can feel overwhelming, especially for a first-time birth partner, and can create a great deal of anxiety. Which of course, is not helpful for the birthing experience.

Everything a birth partner needs to know

The Birth Partner Guidance 60 minute call with me offers the opportunity to address this, covering all the information that a birth partner could need to know. The call also provides space for any questions and concerns, related to birthing and the birth support role. I'm also Birth Trauma accredited so we will prepare you in case any challenges arise.

After the call, the birth partner will feel prepped and ready for the big day, and clear on how important their presence is, for the most magical and enjoyable birth experience for both mother and baby.

*Should any birth partner like to have a follow-up call for further questions, this can also be arranged at a discounted rate.
